Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat bran
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup margarine,softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

In a bowl, stir together oat bran, flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, cream margarine with sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg whites. Gradually add oat bran mixture and mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop from tbsps. onto cookie sheets sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake at 375 deg. for 10 mins. or until golden brown.
