Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions
Cream margarine, shortening, 1 1/2c. sugar, and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Roll tsps. of dough into balls. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon, and roll the cookie balls in the mixture. place 2″ apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 400° for 8-10 mins.
