Original Recipe Card

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup raisins
Directions
In bowl beat margarine & sugars at high speed untilcreamy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy, about 2 mins.In med. bowl combine flour cinnamon,soda,& nutmeg. Stir into margarine mixture until well blended.Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 deg. for 10-12 mins. until lightly browned.
