Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 3/4 cup catsup, plus about 1/4 cup for topping
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tbsp. minced garlic,fresh
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper, or to taste
  • 1 tsp. salt, or to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 deg. In a lg. bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Mix in 1-2 tbsp. water to moisten. Pat into an loaf pan. Top with catsup, if desired. Bake at 350 deg. for 1 hour.

Makes 4-6 servings
